Top tips to increase your Systems Performance and Speed

How to keep your PC’s working well for long during summer.
Summer’s is the most difficult and torturous time for any PC. The summer heat just doesn’t allow your system to run for longer at a single stretch especially when you have some heavy application work like running any 3-D software like MAYA or playing heavy graphics game like COD MODERN WARFARE 2.
Here are some of my advices to make your PC work better and beat that summer heat.
LOCATION OF SYSTEM
  1. Place your PC in a room where there is good ventilation and air circulation. A room having air-conditioning or coolers running is best in any case.
  2. Do not place your CPU in a choky, dark corner but a good open space and maintain some distance from the behind and side walls if it’s a situation. This way your CPU will get fresh cool air.
BEFORE ASSEMBLING CPU
1. If you are getting your PC assembled or in any other way purchasing it then ask the dealer to install a processor coolant gel or pad like arctic silver.
2. Always install some additional fans in the CPU for better air and heat circulation. Do not rely totally on the fans that come pre-installed. If you see the back and sides of of your CPU, you’ll find chimney like structures and holes made. These are actually not for simple air circulation but in fact for installing additional fans and coolers.
3. If you are installing multiple hard drives in your CPU then always maintain one level distance between any two hard disks and never install place them consecutively without space in CPU. This ensures proper heat circulation and makes sure that heat generated from one hard disk doesn’t adds to another.
REGULARLY CLEAN UP THE MESS
1. If you haven’t cleaned your CPU for a long time then open and clean it today yourself or call an expert to do it. The dust and the spider webs heat up your CPU many times. Always clean or get cleaned your CPU once in every two months.
2. The heat sink which is installed above the processor has inlets for air which traps dust particles and make heat dissipation difficult. So always open your whole processor case to clean properly.
3. Take your RAM out of the port socket and clean it’s edges properly with a soft cloth. Sometimes the dust clotted is so much that it doesn’t allow the system to start up.
If you’ll follow these advices then PC is surely going to fulfill your needs during long summer hours as well.
